HFA is proud to announce that Jerry Conaty, Secretary and Partner at HFA, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). This distinguished appointment reflects Jerry’s outstanding leadership and deep commitment to the accounting profession.
As a Trustee, Jerry will help guide the NJCPA’s efforts to support and advance the profession across the state, ensuring that CPAs continue to provide exceptional value and integrity in service to their clients and communities.
The NJCPA has been a cornerstone of the accounting profession in New Jersey since 1898. With nearly 13,000 members, the organization equips and empowers accounting and finance professionals — including those in public practice, industry, government, and education — to thrive in their careers. Through advocacy, education, and networking, the NJCPA works to help members achieve their goals while upholding the highest professional and ethical standards. Jerry’s new role on the Board will position him to contribute directly to these important initiatives, helping shape the future of the profession statewide.
With over 20 years at HFA, Jerry has built a strong reputation for his expertise in auditing, consulting, forensic accounting, and single audits. His work spans a broad range of sectors, including governmental entities (municipalities, counties, school districts), construction and real estate development, utility authorities, and not-for-profit organizations. His appointment to the NJCPA Board of Trustees is a testament to both his professional excellence and his dedication to the accounting community. All of us at HFA are proud to celebrate this achievement and look forward to the insight and leadership Jerry will bring to the NJCPA.
