Joyce Somerville of Holman Frenia Allison, P.C., has been appointed member of Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women

Holman Frenia Allison, P.C., is pleased to announce Joyce Somerville, CPA, ABV, CFF has been appointed member of Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women.

The Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women was created by the board of Chosen Freeholders in October 1977 under the sponsorship of Ocean County’s first Woman Freeholder, Hazel F. Gluck. Nineteen volunteer commissioners are appointed by the Board of Chosen Freeholders to serve as representatives of the diverse roles that women assume in our society. The Commission is dedicated to analyzing the needs, concerns, and interests as well as identifying and coordinating services and resources for women in Ocean County.

Ms. Somerville serves as Practice Leader of Litigation Support and Business Valuation Division serving the greater Philadelphia and New York City Markets. Joyce performs a variety of financial investigative services for the firm; her efforts are concentrated in forensic accounting and investigations, business valuations, matrimonial litigation and commercial litigation.

Before joining Holman Frenia Allison, P.C., Joyce spent nearly twenty years providing accounting support to attorneys in complex matrimonial litigation matters for both parties while providing highly specialized forensic consulting services to clients within various industries. Joyce also has extensive experience in the calculation and verification of commercial business interruption and property damage claims. Joyce received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from William Paterson University.
